Take A Tour Of Giusti’s Place

Giusti’s Place is not only the oldest restaurant and bar in the California Delta, it is also one of the most unique. For customers who arrive by car or boat, it has also been one of the Delta’s favorites for almost 100 years! Take the tour and find out why.

Giust’s - Circa 1960

This photo appeared on the cover of Erle Stanley Gardner’s book The Word of Water - Exploring the Sacramento Delta. It highlights our 250 foot guest dock and restaurant location along Walnut Grove-Thornton Road and the North Fork of the Mokelumne River at the confluence of Snodgrass Slough.

Since this photo was taken we’ve added an outdoor patio alongside the dining room and removed the old bulk ice machine, gas pump on the dock and shed on the deck overlooking our dock. Other than that, things have stayed pretty much the same.

Keeping things the way our customers like it is part of our four generation tradition at Giusti’s.
